uiThemeBuilder Template Update to v1.5.0

With this update, we've upgraded the uiThemeBuilder Template to version 1.5.0. We've added many enhancements and new features to make your website design even easier and more impressive.

uiThemeBuilder Template Customizer New Google Fonts Category "Google Fonts Local (GDPR)" One of the most exciting additions in this update is the introduction of a new Google Fonts category called "Google Fonts Local (GDPR)" in the uiThemeBuilder Template Customizer. What does this mean exactly?

The fonts are no longer loaded via Google but from our own server.

Why did we make this change? The answer lies in data privacy, specifically in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What is GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)?

GDPR is a European data privacy regulation that came into effect in May 2018. Its goal is to protect and strengthen the data privacy rights of European Union citizens. One of the fundamental requirements of GDPR is that personal data can only be collected and processed with clear user consent.

This includes the use of third-party resources like Google Fonts. Before our update, Google Fonts were loaded directly from Google's servers, potentially infringing on GDPR data privacy policies.

With the introduction of the "Google Fonts Local (GDPR)" category, our themes now load the fonts from our own server instead of directly from Google. This helps us better comply with the privacy requirements of GDPR while still providing excellent fonts for your website.

We are proud to introduce this significant update that enhances the usability of our products and ensures the data privacy of our users. We look forward to your feedback on this update and are here to assist with any questions you may have.
